Cape Breton is an eclectic island of culture, combining the Acadian, Gaelic and Miqmak nations into a unique blend of "down home" friendly people.
Ainslieshore cottages are perfect for families, couples or individuals seeking comfortable accommodations that provide both solitude and privacy without compromising accessibility to other attractions on Cape Breton Island.
The property contains two family owned dwellings nestled on 20 acres of mixed forest and fields. A gentle stream, Sarah's Brook runs through Ainslieshore. Bald eagles, rabbits, partridges and the blue jay are just some of the wildlife that call the property home.
Visitors have the panoramic and fresh waters of Lake Ainslie to enjoy meters from their cottages. The white sand beach of Inverness Town is only 20 minutes away by vehicle for aficionados of salt water.
Day trips from the cottage will take you to the world renowned Cabot Trail, whale watching trips and the largest historical re-enactment in North America at the Fortress of Louisbourg, and you will be home in time for a barbeque on the cottage deck.
Other recreational activities in the vicinity are world class gold courses and the chance to attend cultural concerts of both Scottish and Acadian flavour.
Alexander Graham Bell's Museum, Rita McNeil’s Tea Room and the Glenora Inn & Distillery are also in close vicinity as well as a variety of other attractions.

Cottage Rates: $1,200.00 for 2 adults and $50.00 for each additional person, children under 12 free, non-refundable deposit is 20%, non-smoking environments.
